Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of engineering and construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering and construction projects
• Review project designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and design standards
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for management
• Assist in procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Identify technical issues and provide solutions to minimize project risks
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Support senior engineers and project managers in day-to-day project management tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, or other engineering/project management software
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with UAE regulations, codes, and safety standards
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus
