Job Description
We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Sales Engineer to drive sales, provide technical solutions, and support clients throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate will combine engineering knowledge with strong communication skills to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients to understand their technical requirements.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design solutions that meet client needs.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Provide technical support to clients during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitors.
- Support marketing initiatives with technical content and product expertise.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or relevant field).
- 3–6 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in engineering, construction, or industrial solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge relevant to the company’s products or services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in B2B sales and client relationship management.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
