Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and oversee mechanical systems and projects. The ideal candidate will ensure mechanical solutions meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards while supporting project execution and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and analyze mechanical systems, components, and equipment
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues
- Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend mechanical design enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, HVAC, plumbing, or machinery systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other mechanical design software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on UAE or GCC projects
- Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with quality management systems and preventive maintenance practices
