Natural Resource Management

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Natural Resource Management Specialist to support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of natural resource and environmental projects in Fujairah. The ideal candidate will ensure projects promote sustainable use of natural resources, comply with environmental regulations, and achieve ecological and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing natural resource management and conservation projects
• Conduct field assessments and environmental surveys to evaluate land, water, and biodiversity resources
• Develop and implement strategies for sustainable resource utilization and ecosystem protection
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and environmental impact metrics
• Review environmental reports, policies, and project documentation for compliance with UAE regulations
• Conduct site inspections to ensure environmental and safety standards are maintained
• Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
• Prepare technical reports, data analyses, and progress updates for management
• Assist in procurement of materials, equipment, and environmental services
• Identify environmental risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support senior environmental managers in day-to-day project management and compliance tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Ecology, Forestry, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in natural resource management, environmental planning, or sustainability projects (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of natural resource management principles, environmental regulations, and sustainable practices
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, environmental modeling software, or other project management tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with UAE environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and conservation policies
• Professional certification (e.g., CEM, PMP, or relevant environmental certification) is a plus
