Kitchen Helper

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to assist kitchen staff in daily food preparation and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will help maintain cleanliness, support chefs, and ensure hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation (cutting, washing, peeling ingredients)
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, and equipment
• Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools
• Store food items properly as per hygiene standards
• Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies
• Dispose of kitchen waste safely and hygienically
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company policies
• Support kitchen operations during busy hours

Required Qualifications

• No formal education required (basic education preferred)
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Punctual, reliable, and disciplined
• Ability to work as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience as a kitchen helper or in a similar role
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and extended hours if required
• Experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering services
