Job Description

A reputable restaurant and hospitality company is hiring hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistants to support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cleanliness, and overall kitchen management. The ideal candidate should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
  • Clean kitchen utensils, dishes, equipment, and workstations regularly
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and storage areas
  • Help in arranging and storing food supplies and kitchen materials properly
  • Support chefs during busy service hours and restaurant operations
  • Ensure proper handling of kitchen tools, food items, and equipment
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain sanitation procedures
  • Assist in receiving and organizing food deliveries and stock items
  • Follow kitchen safety procedures and company guidelines at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Hardworking, disciplined, and responsible attitude
  • Experience in hotels, restaurants, cafés, or catering services is an advantage
