A reputable restaurant and hospitality company is hiring skilled and passionate Cook (Italian Dishes) for preparing authentic Italian cuisine, kitchen operations, and food presentation. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Italian food preparation including pasta, pizza, sauces, risotto, grilled dishes, and other traditional Italian recipes while maintaining high hygiene and food quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza, risotto, lasagna, sauces, and grilled items according to restaurant standards
  • Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control are maintained consistently
  • Prepare ingredients, sauces, vegetables, meats, and kitchen materials before service hours
  • Operate kitchen equipment, ovens, grills, and cooking tools safely
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Monitor food stock, storage, and ingredient freshness properly
  • Follow restaurant recipes, food safety standards, and kitchen procedures
  • Assist head chef and kitchen team during busy service hours
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and restaurant supervisors for smooth operations
  • Ensure proper handling of kitchen tools, food items, and cooking equipment

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Italian Cook / Chef preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Ability to prepare pasta, pizza, sauces, and Italian specialty dishes professionally
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Team player with creativity and attention to food presentation and taste
  • Experience in hotels, restaurants, cafés, or fine dining establishments is an advantage
