The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning international travel itineraries, booking flights and holiday packages, advising customers on travel requirements, and delivering exceptional customer service. Candidates must have knowledge of global destinations, visa procedures, and airline reservation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with international travel planning, ticket booking, hotel reservations, and vacation packages.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel routes, visa processes, documentation, and travel insurance.
- Use GDS systems (Amadeus / Sabre / Galileo) for ticket issuance, re-issuance, refunds, and modifications.
- Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
- Prepare customized travel itineraries based on customer preferences and budget.
- Process travel bookings efficiently and maintain accurate reservation records.
- Handle travel-related issues such as schedule changes, cancellations, or refunds.
- Promote special offers, tour packages, and add-on travel services.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
- Stay updated on global travel trends, airline policies, visa rules, and tourism updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Agent (International bookings mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of visa procedures, travel regulations, and global destinations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales/booking targets.
- Fluency in English; Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
