A reputable restaurant and hospitality company in Croatia is hiring skilled and hardworking Cooks for hotel, restaurant, and food service operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to restaurant or hotel recipes and standards
  • Assist in food preparation, cutting, marination, and ingredient handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, utensils, and cooking equipment
  • Ensure proper storage of food items according to food safety standards
  • Monitor food quality, portion size, and presentation before serving
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate with chefs, kitchen helpers, and service staff for smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintain stock levels and report shortages of ingredients when required
  • Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Support kitchen operations during busy service hours

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Cook / Kitchen Staff preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environments
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long working hours
  • Teamwork skills and professional attitude
  • Experience in hotel, restaurant, café, or catering industry is an advantage
