Job Description

We are hiring an experienced and skilled General Mechanic with a hotel maintenance background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities across hotel facilities, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment and hotel facilities
  • Respond to maintenance requests and resolve guest room issues promptly
  • Diagnose system malfunctions and repair or replace defective parts
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory
  • Coordinate with engineering, housekeeping, and facility teams for maintenance needs
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintenance standards
  • Assist in emergency situations such as power failure, water leakage, or system breakdown
  • Record maintenance activities and prepare daily/weekly reports

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a General Mechanic or Maintenance Technician in hotels
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repair work
  • Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on ability
  • Physically fit and able to handle labor-intensive tasks
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations
  • Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / HVAC is preferred
