Finishing Road Worker

Job Description

A reputable construction and infrastructure company in Romania is hiring skilled and hardworking Finishing Road Workers for highway, street, and civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in road finishing works such as asphalt leveling, surface preparation, patching, and general road construction finishing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform road finishing works including leveling, smoothing, and surface preparation
• Assist in asphalt laying, compaction, and final road surface finishing
• Repair potholes, cracks, and damaged road surfaces
• Spread and level materials such as asphalt, gravel, and concrete mix
• Operate basic road construction tools and equipment safely
• Support machine operators, rollers, and site engineers during road works
• Ensure proper alignment, gradient, and surface quality of roads
• Read basic construction markings and follow site instructions
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area
• Follow all construction site safety rules and procedures
• Work with team members to complete projects within deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in road construction or finishing work preferred
• Basic knowledge of road building materials and techniques
• Ability to use hand tools and construction equipment safely
• Physically fit for outdoor and heavy-duty construction work
• Basic understanding of construction drawings is an advantage
• Willingness to work in different weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, discipline, and teamwork skills
• Basic English communication skills preferred
