Finishing Road Worker

Job Description

A reputable construction and infrastructure company in Romania is hiring skilled and hardworking Finishing Road Workers for highway, street, and civil road construction projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in road finishing activities such as asphalt leveling, surface preparation, patching, and final road finishing works.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform road finishing work including leveling, smoothing, and surface preparation
• Assist in asphalt laying, spreading, and compaction activities
• Repair potholes, cracks, and damaged road surfaces
• Spread and level materials such as asphalt, gravel, and concrete mix
• Support roller operators, machine operators, and site engineers
• Ensure proper road alignment, slope, and surface quality
• Operate basic road construction tools safely
• Follow site drawings, markings, and supervisor instructions
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
• Follow all construction safety rules and regulations
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on time

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in road construction or finishing work preferred
• Basic knowledge of asphalt, road materials, and construction methods
• Ability to use hand tools and basic construction equipment
• Physically fit for heavy outdoor work
• Willingness to work in different weather conditions
• Basic understanding of construction site operations
• Strong teamwork and discipline
• Basic English communication skills preferred
