Job Description

A reputable construction company is hiring skilled and hardworking Reinforcing Iron Workers for rebar installation, steel fixing, reinforcement work, and structural construction projects. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in steel bar bending, cutting, tying, reinforcement assembly, and concrete structure preparation for commercial and residential construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and fix reinforcing steel bars, mesh, and reinforcement structures according to construction drawings
• Cut, bend, shape, and tie rebar using proper tools and equipment
• Read basic structural drawings and reinforcement layouts accurately
• Assemble reinforcement cages, columns, beams, slabs, and foundation steel frameworks
• Operate cutting machines, bending machines, grinders, and hand tools safely
• Ensure proper spacing, alignment, and securing of reinforcement bars before concrete pouring
• Repair and replace damaged reinforcement materials when required
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and handle construction materials properly
• Follow workplace safety standards and construction procedures
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, carpenters, and concrete workers for smooth project execution

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Reinforcing Iron Worker / Rebar Worker preferred
• Basic knowledge of steel fixing, rebar installation, and reinforcement techniques
• Ability to use reinforcement tools and machinery safely
• Physically fit for lifting heavy materials and working on construction sites
• Basic English communication skills preferred
• Team player with strong work ethic and attention to structural quality
• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects is an advantage
