Job Description

Strabag is hiring experienced Shuttering Carpenters for major commercial, bridge, and infrastructure construction projects in Romania. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in assembling and installing shuttering / formwork systems for concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and install wooden / metal formwork systems
  • Prepare molds for slabs, columns, beams, and foundations
  • Read construction drawings and technical measurements
  • Install temporary supports and braces
  • Remove and reuse formwork materials after curing
  • Inspect alignment, strength, and safety before pouring concrete
  • Operate construction tools safely
  • Maintain site cleanliness and follow safety procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as Shuttering Carpenter
  • Strong understanding of formwork systems
  • Ability to read technical plans
  • Physically fit for construction work
  • Basic English preferred
