Job Description

A reputable construction and interior finishing company is hiring skilled and hardworking Construction Carpenters for formwork, shuttering, framing, woodwork installation, and general carpentry activities. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in construction carpentry, framework installation, furniture fitting, interior woodwork, and site construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, and other carpentry materials
  • Build and install formwork, shuttering, and supporting structures for concrete works
  • Install doors, windows, frames, architraves, skirting, cabinets, and other woodwork items
  • Carry out interior carpentry works including partitions, decorative woodwork, and fixtures
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, drills, saws, grinders, and measuring equipment safely
  • Ensure all carpentry work is accurate, level, and aligned with project requirements
  • Repair, maintain, and replace damaged wooden structures and carpentry fittings when required
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and handle materials properly
  • Follow workplace safety standards and construction procedures at all times
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, masons, electricians, painters, and other workers for smooth project execution

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Construction Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter / Shuttering Carpenter preferred
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, framework installation, and construction methods
  • Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow site instructions
  • Skilled in using carpentry hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Physically fit for lifting materials, bending, and working at heights when required
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or interior construction projects is an advantage
