Skilled Asphalt Worker

Job Description

KiwiCareer is hiring Skilled Asphalt Workers for road construction and paving projects in Romania. We are looking for hardworking and experienced candidates who have hands-on knowledge of asphalt laying, road surface preparation, and paving equipment handling. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work in outdoor environments. Common duties in asphalt work include surface prep, spreading and smoothing hot asphalt, operating rollers/compactors, and following site safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare road surfaces before asphalt application
• Spread, level, and compact hot asphalt using tools and machinery
• Operate paving equipment, rollers, and compactors safely
• Repair damaged roads, potholes, and asphalt surfaces
• Follow construction drawings and supervisor instructions
• Maintain tools, machines, and worksite cleanliness
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed at the job site
• Work efficiently with team members to complete projects on time

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in asphalt paving / road construction
• Knowledge of asphalt laying techniques and compaction methods
• Ability to operate asphalt machinery and hand tools
• Physically strong and able to work in heat / outdoor conditions
• Basic English communication skills preferred
• Teamwork attitude and willingness to work overtime when needed
• Valid driving license is a plus
