Site Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved plans and standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate site operations, manage workforce activities, and support timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities at site and ensure work is carried out as per drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and workers to meet project schedules
- Monitor workmanship, quality, and productivity of site activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site rules, and company policies
- Allocate tasks to workers and monitor attendance and performance
- Inspect materials delivered to site for quality and quantity
- Report site progress, issues, and requirements to project management
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery
- Identify and resolve on-site technical or operational issues
- Maintain site records, daily reports, and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience as a site supervisor in construction projects
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
Preferred Skills
- Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and standards
- Good communication skills and ability to manage multicultural teams
- Experience working in UAE or GCC construction sites
