Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural design, analysis, and implementation of construction projects. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance, ensure structural integrity, and collaborate closely with project teams to deliver safe and high-quality structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, analysis, and review of structural systems for buildings, infrastructure, and other construction projects
  • Prepare, review, and approve structural drawings, calculations, and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with design codes, standards, and project requirements
  • Conduct structural inspections and provide recommendations for design improvements
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to resolve technical issues
  • Review and approve subcontractor structural designs and shop drawings
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to structural designs and quality standards
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies related to structural safety
  • Stay updated with new technologies, materials, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 8–12 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design codes, and construction methods
  • Proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
  • Familiarity with UAE or GCC construction standards and regulations

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with high-rise, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects
  • Professional engineering license (PE, RPE, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of project management principles and construction processes
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with consultants
  • Experience working in UAE or GCC construction projects
