Senior Sales Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Engineer (Mechanical) to manage technical sales activities and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong engineering knowledge with sales expertise to promote mechanical products, solutions, or services while building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell mechanical engineering products, systems, or solutions
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strong client relationships
- Understand client technical requirements and propose suitable solutions
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions with clients
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6–10 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, products, or industrial equipment
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly
- Strong analytical and customer-focused approach
Preferred Skills
- Experience in UAE or GCC mechanical or industrial sales markets
- Background in HVAC, MEP, manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial equipment
- Familiarity with tendering, contracts, and project-based sales
- UAE driving license
- Ability to lead sales initiatives and mentor junior sales engineers
