Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Consultant – Policies & Procedures to lead the development, review, and implementation of organizational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational objectives while supporting operational efficiency and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update organizational policies, procedures, SOPs, and governance frameworks
- Ensure policies and procedures align with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborate with business units, management, and stakeholders to assess operational requirements
- Conduct gap analysis and risk assessments to identify policy and process improvements
- Provide expert guidance on policy interpretation, implementation, and compliance
- Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance initiatives
- Standardize documentation formats and ensure version control and governance
- Facilitate policy rollout, training, and awareness sessions across departments
- Monitor policy effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for senior management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, Risk, Compliance, or a related field
- 7–10 years of experience in policy development, procedures, governance, or compliance roles
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven experience in drafting clear, structured, and auditable policy documentation
- Excellent analytical, writing, and documentation skills
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical procedures
Preferred Skills
- Experience in consulting, advisory, or policy governance roles
- Familiarity with ISO standards, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Experience working with government entities, regulators, or large organizations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
