Job Description

A reputable logistics and transport company is hiring experienced and responsible Truck Drivers for safe and timely transportation of goods. The ideal candidate should have strong driving skills, knowledge of road safety regulations, and experience in long-distance or commercial vehicle driving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive heavy trucks for transporting goods to designated locations safely and on time
  • Follow traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company driving policies
  • Load, unload, and securely handle cargo when required
  • Inspect vehicle before and after trips (fuel, brakes, tires, oil, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and route information
  • Ensure proper handling and safety of goods during transportation
  • Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to management immediately
  • Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and logistics staff for smooth operations

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driving license (LMV/HMV as applicable)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a truck or heavy vehicle driver preferred
  • Good knowledge of road safety rules and traffic regulations
  • Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
  • Physically fit and responsible attitude
  • Basic communication skills preferred
  • Experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain companies is an advantage
