Teaching Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a supportive, responsible, and energetic Teaching Assistant to join our academic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in daily classroom activities, help manage students, and contribute to creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities
- Support students individually or in small groups with learning tasks
- Help maintain classroom discipline, safety, and cleanliness
- Prepare teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays
- Supervise students during breaks, activities, and school events
- Assist with marking, documentation, and administrative tasks
- Support children with special needs or learning difficulties when required
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree (Education is a plus)
- Experience working in a school or nursery is preferred
- Good English communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
- Patient, caring, and child-friendly personality
- Ability to follow instructions and support lead teachers
- Good classroom management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of early childhood or primary education is an advantage
