Job Description

Canam Steel România is hiring skilled Structural Steel Workers for steel fabrication and construction support projects in Romania. The company works on steel structures used in buildings, warehouses, bridges, and large industrial projects, with strong expertise in structural steel solutions.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in steel assembly, cutting, fitting, welding support, and installation of structural steel components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install structural steel components according to project drawings
  • Cut, shape, and fit steel sections, beams, columns, and plates
  • Assist in welding, bolting, fastening, and steel frame erection work
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical measurements
  • Operate cutting, drilling, grinding, and fabrication tools safely
  • Inspect steel materials for quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Support loading, unloading, and positioning of steel structures on-site
  • Maintain workplace safety and follow engineering specifications
  • Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to complete projects on time

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in structural steel work / steel fabrication
  • Knowledge of steel fitting, assembly, and fabrication techniques
  • Ability to read basic structural drawings and measurements
  • Experience using fabrication tools and workshop equipment
  • Physically fit for industrial and construction work
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Welding knowledge is an added advantage
  • Team player with strong safety awareness
  • Valid driving license is a plus
