Job Description

Strabag is hiring experienced Steel Fixers for major infrastructure, bridge, and commercial construction projects in Romania. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in cutting, bending, and installing reinforcement steel bars according to structural drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, and fix steel bars and mesh for reinforced concrete structures
• Read structural drawings and reinforcement plans accurately
• Tie rebar using wire, clips, and mechanical fastening systems
• Install reinforcement for foundations, beams, slabs, columns, and walls
• Maintain proper spacing and alignment according to project standards
• Operate cutting, bending, and lifting tools safely
• Coordinate with shuttering carpenters and concrete teams
• Follow workplace safety regulations and site procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as Steel Fixer / Rebar Worker
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete construction
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Physically fit for heavy construction work
• Basic English communication preferred
