Job Description

A reputable manufacturing and construction company is hiring skilled and hardworking Steel Fixers for reinforcement installation, steel bar fitting, structural framework support, and construction reinforcement projects. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in cutting, bending, tying, and fixing steel bars and reinforcement materials for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, and fix steel reinforcement bars (rebar) according to construction drawings and specifications
• Assemble and install steel frameworks, mesh, cages, and reinforcement structures for concrete works
• Read and interpret structural drawings, bar bending schedules, and reinforcement layouts
• Tie rebar using wire, clips, spacers, and reinforcement tools to secure steel structures properly
• Assist in preparing reinforcement for beams, columns, slabs, foundations, and concrete structures
• Operate steel cutting machines, bending equipment, grinders, and hand tools safely
• Inspect reinforcement work for alignment, spacing, and structural accuracy before concrete pouring
• Coordinate with engineers, carpenters, concrete workers, and site supervisors for smooth project execution
• Follow workplace safety standards and maintain cleanliness at construction sites
• Support loading, unloading, and transportation of steel materials where required

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Steel Fixer / Rebar Worker / Reinforcement Worker preferred
• Strong knowledge of reinforcement techniques, rebar installation, and construction safety procedures
• Ability to read structural drawings and reinforcement plans
• Experience using steel cutting, bending, and tying tools
• Physically fit for demanding construction and heavy material handling work
• Basic English communication skills preferred
• Team player with strong work ethic and safety awareness
• Experience in high-rise buildings, bridges, tunnels, or infrastructure projects is an advantage
