Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Specialist Dermatologist to join our reputable healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of skin, hair, and nail disorders, perform dermatological procedures, and provide comprehensive care to patients in a professional clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat various skin, hair, and nail conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, and cosmetic concerns
  • Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, laser therapy, chemical peels, and cosmetic treatments
  • Interpret lab results, skin biopsies, and imaging studies for accurate diagnosis
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up care strategies
  • Educate patients on skin care, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation in EMR systems
  • Collaborate with other specialists (plastic surgeons, cosmetologists) for multidisciplinary care
  • Handle dermatological emergencies and urgent care cases as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations and hospital protocols
  • Participate in continuous medical education (CME), research, and departmental meetings

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

  • MBBS + MD / DNB / Board Certification in Dermatology
  • Fellowship in cosmetic dermatology or dermatologic surgery (optional but advantageous)

Licensing Requirements:

  • Valid DHA Specialist License or DHA Eligibility Letter (Mandatory)
  • Candidates willing to process DHA licensing may also apply

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in dermatology
  • Experience in cosmetic dermatology procedures is an added advantage
  • Prior UAE/GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in dermatology
  • Ability to perform minor dermatological procedures with precision
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
  • Knowledge of modern dermatology techniques and equipment
  • Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage
