Job Description

Dafora is hiring experienced and hardworking Skilled Workers for Drilling to support onshore drilling, borehole development, geothermal exploration, and oil & gas field operations in Romania. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in drilling site operations, rig support activities, equipment handling, and maintaining safe and efficient field execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist drilling operators and rig supervisors during drilling operations
  • Support setup, dismantling, and maintenance of drilling rigs and related equipment
  • Operate drilling tools, mechanical systems, and site equipment safely
  • Handle drilling pipes, casing materials, and support machinery during field operations
  • Prepare drilling fluids, tools, and materials required for daily operations
  • Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and operational safety before use
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and organizing drilling materials on-site
  • Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and operational safety at drilling locations
  • Follow technical instructions from supervisors and coordinate with field teams for smooth operations
  • Comply with all company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and operational procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in drilling, rig operations, borehole construction, or oilfield support work
  • Basic knowledge of drilling equipment, pipe handling, and mechanical systems
  • Experience in onshore drilling / geothermal drilling / borewell drilling is preferred
  • Physically fit for heavy outdoor industrial work
  • Ability to operate hand tools and drilling support equipment safely
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Team player with strong work ethic, discipline, and safety awareness
  • Valid driving license is an advantage
