Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Shipping Supervisor to manage and oversee daily shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate will coordinate with warehouse, logistics, freight, and customs teams, supervise shipping staff, and ensure full compliance with documentation and operational standards. Strong knowledge of freight regulations, shipping documentation, and logistics processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily shipping and dispatch operations for local and international shipments
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate shipments based on delivery deadlines and customer requirements
  • Manage and monitor packing, labeling, loading, and transportation activities
  • Prepare, verify, and manage shipping documentation (Packing List, Invoice, BL, PL, COO, AWB, etc.)
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport suppliers, and customs agents for smooth shipment handling
  • Track shipment status and update customers & internal departments accordingly
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper stock movement records
  • Supervise shipping team and assign daily work plans & performance monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with shipping standards, logistics regulations, and safety policies
  • Resolve logistics issues, delays, damage claims, and customer shipment concerns
  • Maintain shipping records, logs, delivery reports, and tracking files
  • Optimize shipping costs and negotiate with logistics service providers.

equirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in shipping/logistics supervision (UAE experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of international freight processes (Air, Sea & Land)
  • Familiar with shipping and customs documentation, HS codes, Export/Import regulations
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems & MS Office (Excel proficiency required)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic/Hindi is an advantage
