Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Java to join our rapidly growing technology team in Ras Al-Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, backend architecture, API integration, and scalable enterprise applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects and contribute to technical leadership within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex system issues.
Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization.
Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases as required.
Stay updated on the latest Java technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in backend development using Java.
Strong command of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, and microservices architecture.
Experience with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments preferred.
