Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead software development projects, design scalable solutions, and guide junior engineers within our Ajman-based technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, full-stack development capability, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality software aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Design & Development

  • Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
  • Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code across front-end, back-end, or full-stack environments.
  • Build APIs, web services, integrations, and enterprise-level systems.

Leadership & Mentoring

  • Provide technical leadership to developers and project teams.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and guide junior engineers in improving code quality.
  • Support planning, estimation, and technical decision-making for ongoing projects.

Testing, Debugging & Optimization

  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance checks.
  • Identify bugs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance across applications.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and reliability of deployed systems.

Collaboration & Documentation

Participate in sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and technical discussions.

Work with project managers, QA teams, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Create and maintain documentation — system designs, technical specifications, test plans, release notes.

System Integration & Deployment

  • Integrate applications with third-party systems, APIs, and databases.
  • Support deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and version-control workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, security guidelines, and development protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–10+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in languages/frameworks such as:
    C#, .NET / .NET Core, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript (React/Angular/Vue), Node.js
  • Experience with databases: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of API development, microservices, DevOps practices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Experience leading software teams or projects.
  • Excellent communication, analytical skills, and ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
