Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Business Analyst (IT/Tech) to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will gather and analyze requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure IT projects are delivered effectively, meeting both business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, process mapping, and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical documentation for development teams.

Project Support & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with software developers, QA teams, and technical architects to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
  • Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and requirement prioritization.
  • Assist in defining KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements for IT projects.

Testing & Validation

  • Support QA and testing teams by providing requirement clarifications and reviewing test cases to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Validate system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure user acceptance testing (UAT) is completed successfully.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and technical reports.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders to track project progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure proper version control and accessibility of project documentation.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for business process optimization, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Recommend improvements in systems, workflows, and technology usage to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT and business analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, software development, or technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and project management principles.
  • Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and process modeling.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, MS Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
