Science & Math Tutor
Job Description
We are looking for knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science & Math Tutors to support students in Abu Dhabi with strong academic guidance. The ideal candidate will help students understand core concepts, improve problem-solving skills, and achieve excellent academic results through personalized tutoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one or small-group tutoring in Mathematics and Science
- Teach concepts clearly and adapt methods to suit different learning styles
- Assist students with homework, assignments, projects, and exam preparation
- Prepare lesson plans based on curriculum requirements and student needs
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians
- Help students build confidence, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Prepare students for school exams, assessments, and competitive tests
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and accurate tutoring records
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of tutoring or teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and Science
- Excellent communication and explanation skills
- Ability to simplify complex topics for better understanding
- Passion for teaching and student success
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CBSE, ICSE, British, American, or IB curricula
- Home tutoring or online tutoring experience
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and virtual classrooms
- Multilingual skills (Arabic is a plus)
