Retina Nurse
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Retina Nurse to join our medical team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience in ophthalmic or retinal care, and a compassionate approach toward patients. This role involves supporting ophthalmologists during diagnostic procedures, assisting in retinal treatments, and ensuring high-quality patient care throughout the treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist ophthalmologists in retinal examinations, diagnostics, and minor procedures
- Provide emergency support and basic life-saving measures when required
- Prepare patients for retinal imaging, laser treatments, injections, and other procedures
- Administer medications and injections under supervision
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Guide patients through post-procedure care and follow-up instructions
- Ensure a clean, safe, and infection-free clinical environment
- Support doctors and senior nursing staff in all patient care activities
Required Skills
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Experience or interest in ophthalmology, especially retina care
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Clinical documentation proficiency
- Medication administration
- Knowledge of infection control practices
Qualifications
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution in India
- Registered with the Indian Nursing Council
- Preferably holds a valid DHA License or eligibility letter for practice in Dubai
- Age should be below 35 years
