Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Purchase cum Logistics Coordinator to manage procurement operations and oversee logistics activities including shipment tracking, material delivery, and warehouse coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth sourcing, purchasing, and distribution processes while maintaining cost efficiency and timely supply of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
  • Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier documentation
  • Coordinate with internal departments to identify material and equipment requirements
  • Track shipments and arrange transportation for timely delivery of goods
  • Manage logistics operations including freight, customs clearance, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages
  • Handle delivery discrepancies and resolve supplier or logistics issues promptly
  • Maintain proper records of purchases, shipments, invoices, and delivery notes
  • Liaise with warehouse teams for material receiving, storage, and dispatch
  • Generate procurement and logistics reports for management review

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or relevant field
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement and logistics coordination (UAE experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of shipping, customs documentation, and logistics operations
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Inventory systems
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and strong follow-up skills
  • Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi is an added advantage
  • UAE driving license preferred
