Job Description
We are hiring a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills and knowledge of procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing and contracts
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records
- Coordinate with finance and operations teams
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Evaluate vendor performance and compliance
- Ensure procurement activities follow company policies
- Prepare procurement reports and cost analyses
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4 years of procurement experience
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement systems
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge of UAE procurement practices preferred
