Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Director to lead and oversee large-scale real estate development projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end real estate development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and execution strategies in alignment with business objectives
  • Oversee consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, and project teams
  • Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and risks, ensuring timely corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, permits, and authority approvals
  • Manage contract negotiations, claims, variations, and dispute resolution
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as finance, sales, legal, and marketing
  • Implement best practices in project governance, reporting, and documentation
  • Identify risks and opportunities to enhance project efficiency and profitability
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
  • 12–20 years of experience in real estate development or large-scale construction projects
  • Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar real estate developments
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, construction processes, and contracts
  • In-depth understanding of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree or PMP certification is an advantage
  • Experience working with real estate developers in the UAE or GCC region
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local authority regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Strategic mindset with strong commercial and financial acumen
