Job Description

Kandia Dulce S.A., one of Romania’s leading confectionery manufacturers, is hiring a skilled Premium Confectioner (Cakes) for high-quality cake and sweet bakery production. The candidate will be responsible for preparing premium cakes, pastries, fillings, toppings, and decorative confectionery items while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. Kandia Dulce produces cake and confectionery products at scale for the Romanian market, including well-known sweet brands and packaged cakes.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Prepare premium cakes, sponge bases, cream fillings, and decorative toppings
✔ Mix ingredients according to recipe standards and production guidelines
✔ Operate bakery / confectionery production equipment safely
✔ Apply icing, glazing, layering, and finishing decoration techniques
✔ Maintain product consistency, taste, texture, and presentation quality
✔ Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards
✔ Monitor baking temperatures, timing, and ingredient quality
✔ Assist in packaging and final quality inspection of finished cakes
✔ Keep workstation clean and organized during production shifts

Requirements:

✔ 2–5 years experience in cake making / confectionery production
✔ Knowledge of bakery ingredients, creams, chocolates, and cake decoration
✔ Experience with commercial baking ovens and confectionery equipment
✔ Understanding of food hygiene and HACCP standards
✔ Attention to detail and artistic finishing skills
✔ Ability to work in fast-paced production environments
✔ Team player with good time management skills
