Pharmacist
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations, dispense medications accurately, and provide professional healthcare advice to patients. The ideal candidate must have a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license and demonstrate excellent knowledge of pharmaceuticals and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide clear usage instructions
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
- Maintain inventory of medicines and pharmacy supplies, including ordering and stock control
- Ensure compliance with UAE pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Prepare and label medications according to prescriptions
- Monitor drug storage conditions and expiry dates
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Provide advice on over-the-counter medications and general health issues
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, sales, and controlled substances
- Participate in pharmacy audits, quality control, and professional development programs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy
- Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license
- 2–5 years of experience in a hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical regulations
- Excellent communication and counseling skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Ability to work in shifts, if required
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
