Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Neurologist to join our leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating complex neurological disorders, performing neurological assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing advanced patient care.
This role requires extensive clinical expertise, strong decision-making abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality neurological care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, migraines, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, neuropathies, etc.
- Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and detailed medical histories
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scan, EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, etc.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic neurological disorders
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, physiotherapists, and other departments for multidisciplinary care
- Manage emergency neurological cases and provide inpatient & outpatient care
- Perform or oversee neurological procedures (as per licensing scope)
- Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options and long-term care plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in EMR
- Ensure adherence to Dubai Health Authority (DHA) standards, clinical protocols, and safety guidelines
- Participate in clinical meetings, research discussions, and continuous medical education programs
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- MBBS + MD / DNB in Neurology
- DM / Board Certification / Fellowship in Neurology (mandatory for Consultant level)
Licensing Requirements:
- Valid DHA Consultant License or DHA Eligibility Letter (Mandatory)
- Candidates open to processing DHA license may also apply
Experience:
- Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience as a Neurologist
- Strong experience in managing acute neurological emergencies and complex cases
- Prior GCC/UAE experience is an advantage, but not mandatory
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and clinical decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge of neurological tests, imaging, and treatment protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Compassionate patient-centered approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu an advantage.
