Machinery Painter
Job Description
A reputed manufacturing, engineering, or heavy equipment company in Romania is hiring a skilled Machinery Painter to perform surface preparation, industrial coating, and painting of heavy machinery, construction equipment, and mechanical components. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning surfaces, sanding, applying primer, spray painting, and ensuring high-quality finishing according to industrial standards. The ideal candidate should have experience with industrial paint systems, spray guns, and protective coating applications.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Prepare machinery surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and removing rust or old paint
✔ Apply primer, base coats, protective coatings, and finishing paint on heavy equipment and machine parts
✔ Operate spray painting tools, air compressors, and coating equipment safely
✔ Mix paints, hardeners, and coating materials according to technical specifications
✔ Inspect painted surfaces for smoothness, thickness, and finish quality
✔ Perform touch-ups, refinishing, and repainting work when required
✔ Follow safety procedures while handling chemicals, paints, and spray equipment
✔ Maintain cleanliness of painting booths, tools, and equipment
✔ Use protective gear and comply with industrial health and safety regulations
✔ Coordinate with fabrication and maintenance teams for painting schedules
Requirements:
✔ 2–5 years of experience in industrial painting / machinery painting
✔ Knowledge of spray painting techniques and protective industrial coatings
✔ Experience with primers, epoxy coatings, powder coating, or anti-corrosion paints is an advantage
✔ Ability to use spray guns, sanding tools, and finishing equipment
✔ Understanding of workplace safety and chemical handling procedures
✔ Attention to detail and quality finishing skills
✔ Physically fit for workshop or industrial site work
