Junior Accountant
Job Description
We are hiring a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The selected candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of accounting experience who are eager to build their career in finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping
- Prepare journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain organized financial documentation and filing
- Prepare basic financial reports and statements as required
- Coordinate with internal departments and respond to finance queries
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and UAE financial regulations
- Assist senior accountant and finance manager as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years of accounting experience (Freshers welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally / QuickBooks / ERP preferred
- Strong MS Excel and numerical skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical ability
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English; Hindi/Tagalog is an advantage
