Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will oversee the accounting team, manage complex financial activities, and maintain strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounting team and daily operations
  • Oversee general ledger, month-end, and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Manage UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and filings
  • Ensure strong internal controls and accounting policies
  • Coordinate internal and external audits
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Analyze financial performance and provide management insights
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and consultants
  • Implement process improvements and automation initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax
  • Proven experience managing accounting teams
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA)
  • Experience in large corporate or multi-entity environments
  • Advanced MS Excel and reporting expertise
  • Audit and risk management exposure
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities
