General Practitioner Doctor
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused General Practitioner (GP) Doctor to deliver high-quality primary healthcare services in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions while ensuring compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and medical evaluations
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with DOH (Department of Health) Abu Dhabi guidelines
- Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and lifestyle counseling
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records
- Refer patients to specialists when required and monitor follow-up care
- Handle medical emergencies and provide immediate medical attention
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and ethical standards
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development activities
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution
- Valid DOH / HAAD License or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a General Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of general medicine, diagnostics, and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and medical ethics
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience working in clinics or hospitals within the UAE
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or emergency care
- Multilingual skills (Arabic is an advantage)
