Female – General Practitioner (Doctor on Call)

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced and dedicated Female General Practitioner (Doctor on Call) to provide high-quality medical care to patients across Dubai. The ideal candidate will respond to home/office visits, assess patients, provide immediate treatment, and manage follow-up care. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-call medical consultations at patient homes, hotels, or workplaces
• Conduct physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and recommend treatment plans
• Administer basic medical procedures such as IV therapy, injections, wound care, etc.
• Respond to urgent or emergency medical situations professionally
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records (EMR)
• Coordinate patient care with medical centers, specialists, and laboratories
• Prescribe medications according to UAE medical guidelines
• Provide patient education regarding lifestyle, medication usage, and follow-up care
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations
• Maintain professional behavior, punctuality, and patient care standards

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized university
• Postgraduate qualification (preferred but not mandatory)

Licensing Requirements:

• Valid DHA License / DHA Eligibility Letter for General Practitioner (Mandatory)
• Candidates without DHA licensing may apply but must be willing to complete the licensing process

Experience:

• Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner
• Experience in homecare / doctor-on-call services preferred
• Ability to handle basic emergency cases and procedures

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong diagnostic and clinical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently during on-call visits
• Good command of English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage)
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred
