Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and DHA-licensed Emergency Medicine Doctor to provide immediate medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses, trauma, and life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency environment, ensuring rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage emergency and trauma patients
  • Provide immediate life-saving interventions and advanced medical care
  • Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, suturing, and resuscitation
  • Stabilize patients and arrange admissions or transfers when required
  • Interpret diagnostic tests including labs, X-rays, CT scans, and ECGs
  • Coordinate with specialists, nurses, and paramedics
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation (EMR)
  • Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and hospital protocols
  • Participate in emergency drills, quality improvement, and audits
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families during emergencies

Required Qualifications

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Valid DHA license or DHA eligibility (mandatory)
  • Specialization in Emergency Medicine (Board Certified / MD / MS / MRCEM / equivalent preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an emergency department
  • Current BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in high-volume emergency or trauma centers
  • Pediatric emergency care experience
  • Multilingual (English required; Arabic is an advantage)
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
