DHA Registered School Doctor
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate DHA Registered School Doctor to provide medical care and health supervision for students and staff within a school environment. The ideal candidate will promote student well-being, manage medical needs, ensure compliance with DHA school health regulations, and respond effectively to health-related emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical care and first-line treatment to students and staff
- Conduct routine health assessments, medical check-ups, and screenings
- Manage student medical records and ensure confidentiality
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with hospitals when required
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies
- Advise school management on health policies, safety, and infection control
- Conduct health awareness programs for students, parents, and staff
- Ensure compliance with DHA school health guidelines and regulations
- Coordinate with school nurses, counselors, and administrative staff
- Maintain medical supplies, equipment, and clinic readiness
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution
- Valid DHA medical license (mandatory)
- 2–5 years of clinical experience (school or pediatric experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of school health programs and preventive healthcare
- Ability to work with children and adolescents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, responsible, and patient-focused approach
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience as a School Doctor in UAE
- Knowledge of child health, vaccinations, and preventive care
- BLS / ACLS certification
- Familiarity with DHA school health policies and reporting systems
- Multilingual skills (English mandatory; Arabic an advantage)
