Crane Operator

Job Description

A reputed construction, infrastructure, or industrial engineering company in Bulgaria is hiring a skilled Crane Operator to operate cranes safely and efficiently for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials, machinery, and construction components on-site. The candidate will be responsible for handling crane controls, inspecting lifting equipment, following load charts, and ensuring safe lifting operations according to project and workplace safety standards. The ideal candidate should have experience operating mobile cranes, tower cranes, or heavy lifting equipment in construction or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Operate mobile cranes, tower cranes, or lifting equipment for material handling and site operations
✔ Lift, move, and position heavy construction materials, machinery, and equipment safely
✔ Inspect crane systems, hooks, cables, pulleys, and lifting accessories before operation
✔ Follow load charts, lifting plans, and safe operating procedures
✔ Coordinate with signalers, riggers, and site supervisors during lifting operations
✔ Monitor crane stability, ground conditions, and weather factors affecting safe lifting
✔ Perform routine checks, lubrication, and minor maintenance of crane equipment
✔ Report mechanical issues, equipment faults, or safety concerns immediately
✔ Maintain operation logs and lifting records when required
✔ Strictly follow workplace safety regulations and lifting standards

Requirements:

✔ 2–5 years of experience as a Crane Operator
✔ Valid crane operator license / certification preferred
✔ Knowledge of crane controls, lifting capacities, and safety procedures
✔ Experience with mobile cranes, crawler cranes, or tower cranes is an advantage
✔ Ability to understand load charts and lifting instructions
✔ Good communication and coordination skills for site operations
✔ Physically fit and comfortable working at heights / outdoor conditions
