Compliance Consultant
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Consultant to ensure that our organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on compliance frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and help develop strategies to mitigate compliance-related risks within the business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise management on compliance requirements related to UAE laws, financial regulations, AML/CFT, data protection, and corporate governance.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments, audits, and gap analyses.
- Develop and implement compliance programs, internal policies, and training sessions.
- Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to relevant departments.
- Review and assess business processes, transactions, and documentation for regulatory adherence.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities, as required.
- Support investigations of compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and legal teams.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory advisory (preferably in UAE or GCC).
- Strong knowledge of UAE Central Bank, DFSA, or ADGM regulations and international compliance standards.
- Certification such as CAMS, CCO, or ICA Diploma in Compliance is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
