Job Description

Construcții Erbașu is seeking a skilled Civil Electrician to join its construction team. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Duties include electrical wiring, conduit installation, panel fitting, lighting setup, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in construction electrical work, knowledge of electrical drawings, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented site environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring systems, power distribution lines, and site electrical infrastructure
  • Fit switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, distribution boards, and electrical control panels
  • Install conduits, cable trays, trunking systems, and perform cable pulling and routing work
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, wiring layouts, and technical specifications
  • Perform electrical testing, voltage checks, continuity testing, and system inspections for proper operation
  • Identify and repair electrical faults, damaged wiring, short circuits, and equipment malfunctions
  • Install grounding systems, protective devices, and ensure electrical safety compliance on-site
  • Operate electrical hand tools, drilling machines, cable cutters, testers, and installation equipment safely
  • Assist in installation of motors, pumps, generators, and other site electrical equipment where required
  • Maintain cleanliness at the worksite and follow company electrical safety procedures
  • Coordinate with engineers, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and construction site teams for smooth project execution

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Civil Electrician / Construction Electrician / Building Electrician
  • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring systems, cable installation, and panel fitting techniques
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, technical layouts, and circuit schematics
  • Experience using electrical hand tools, testing devices, and installation machinery
  • Knowledge of electrical safety codes and construction site compliance standards
  • Physically fit for demanding installation and maintenance work
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Team player with strong work ethic and safety awareness
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical projects is an advantage
