Chemistry Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chemistry Teacher to teach secondary and senior secondary students. The ideal candidate will deliver clear and engaging lessons, conduct laboratory demonstrations, prepare learning materials, evaluate student performance, and foster strong scientific understanding in line with curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Chemistry lessons aligned with school curriculum (CBSE/British/American depending on school)
• Teach theoretical & practical concepts including organic, inorganic & physical chemistry
• Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments ensuring student safety at all times
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and exams
• Assess student performance, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate student records including attendance, marks, and progress reports
• Create a stimulating and interactive learning environment
• Use smart classroom tools and digital platforms for lesson delivery
• Support students in science projects, competitions, and academic events
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in department meetings & training programs
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
• Enforce classroom discipline and promote positive behavi

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry / Science with B.Ed mandatory
• Master’s degree in Chemistry is an advantage
• 2–4 years of teaching experience at middle / high school level (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong subject knowledge and laboratory management skills
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Experience using smart boards and digital teaching tools
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Female candidates preferred (as per school requirement)
